About me & Gallery

Hello, I'm Sue and thanks for taking the time to visit Fall and Roll.

Most of the roles I've held in my working life have been creative.

As a graphic designer, I responded to briefs with designs which met the client's needs.

As a copywriter, I wrote content which dealt with tricky subject matters such as money and health in a way which all customers could understand and respond to in a way which mattered to them.

As an editor, I had to make sure that the magazine I was in charge of was read. There'd be no point otherwise!

As a mum, I wanted to be the best version of myself and make sure my children were happy. So, I dropped the long working hours and stress and swapped it for playing in the mud, growing things, writing stories, drawing funny pictures, composing silly poems, poking about in rock pools and using my creative skills to answer questions such as "How long is a giant's leg?"

Somehow, ALL this seemed to channel me into working in primary education. A place which is so vibrant, so inspiring, so humbling, so exciting and so tiring all at the same time!

Now, I've decided to take this another step further. Another step in my own learning journey. An opportunity for me to share my art and design skills and love of history with even more children in the Bolton area.

Thank you to those children, families and teachers who have helped me to get this far. I can't wait to meet more of you!
