The Vikings of Sacred Heart RC Primary say...

What an absolute joy it was to share my Viking Life experience with Year 5 pupils at Sacred Heart RC Primary school in Westhoughton, Bolton. Here's what some of the children had to say:

"I really enjoyed the Viking food, it was so different to anything I've tried before and it taught me a lot about Viking life. I also loved learning to speak old Icelandic language and pretending to be Vikings. The best school day ever!!!"

Max

"I liked learning so many facts about Vikings and how extraordinary they were. It was really fun to see the types of clothes they wore and my favourite part was dressing up and practicing Viking language. Thank you for such a brilliant day!"

Elliott

"I thought the language was really cool and I enjoyed trying the different types of food and drink. The bread was my favourite! I learned a lot about Viking life and their history!"

Noah

"The bread!!
I really enjoyed doing the role plays and learning about their lives."
